Here’s some things that you could include, but include any personal experiences too:

Thousands of people visit Community House or are supported by the charities based there every week. Tens of thousands of Redditch residents benefit from the services based there. For over 30 years it has been a vibrant community space, and a vital support hub for local people.

In 2019, prior to the pandemic:

• There were over 2,000 visits each week to the charities and activities at Community House 
• Over the previous year an estimate 89,000 Redditch people visited Community House or were supported by the charities based there

Figures were returning to those levels.

The activities that are run by the charities based here and by the groups that operate in the Community Hall allow people to live independent, active and healthy lives whether it is Age UK activities or the many other groups that run activities here.  All the activities have many positive health impacts around both mental and physical wellbeing (and so supports the Council’s priority by helping to  reduce isolation, encouraging people to be physically active, and improving confidence and self-esteem), and helps people to live their lives independently.
